Fakaalofa lahi atu, Greetings from Niue.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to The Exploring Travelogue and invite you to visit the beautiful island of Niue. Niue is affectionately known as the 'Rock of Polynesia' and is reputed to be the largest upraised coral atoll in the world. A single land mass in the centre of a triangle of Polynesian islands made up of Tonga, Samoa and the Cook Islands, Niue is located 2400 km Northeast of New Zealand. the island's isolation and coral makeup create an exciting rugged coastline and reef which provide intimate swimming coves, as opposed to the typical long stretches of sandy beach so predominant elsewhere in Polynesia.

Niue's natural beauty of large subterranean limestone caves, sea chasms and arches, dramatic grottoes, spectacular reef pools, unlimited dive visibility, abundance of large gamefish and first generation rain forest make Niue an "untouched, yet to be discovered" adventure's paradise.
